MPF Xtra Servicing Guide Updates

On January 11, 2019 Fannie Mae issued Lender Letter LL-2019-01 which provides clarification of Fannie Mae’s expectations and requirements with respect to credit reporting for mortgage loans made to government employees and other workers impacted by the federal government shutdown that began on December 22, 2018.

To gain a full understanding of these topics, Servicers should review the entire Fannie Mae Lender Letter plus any applicable Fannie Mae Servicing Guide chapters, forms, or exhibits noted in the announcement.
