MPF Xtra Selling Guide Updates

Effective Date: Immediately (Unless Otherwise Noted)

On January 16, 2019 Fannie Mae issued Lender Letter LL-2019-02 which provides temporary guidance on selling policies for borrowers impacted by the federal government shutdown that began on December 22,  2018.

Lender Letter LL-2019-02 covers the below referenced topics that are applicable to loans sold under the MPF Xtra product:

• Liquid Financial Reserves
• Verification of Employment and Income

To gain a full understanding of these topics, PFIs should review the entire Fannie Mae Lender Letter plus any applicable Fannie Mae Selling Guide chapters, forms, or exhibits noted in the announcement.
