MPF Program Announces Updates to Annual Eligibility Certification Forms OG1 and OG2

Effective Date: January 1, 2021

The MPF Program is pleased to announce that we have streamlined the OG1 and OG2 forms that PFIs/Servicers are required to complete and submit annually for the Annual Eligibility Certification (AEC) process. The OG1 and OG2 forms that are to be submitted for the AEC process that is scheduled to kick off on January 1, 2021 include the following updates:

• Streamlined certification into 3 questions/statements so that they are applicable to all MPF products and are no longer product specific (OG1);
• Removed duplicative questions/statements (OG1 and OG2);
• Added clear guidance of requirements of coverage and deductible amounts for insurance (OG2);

PFIs/Servicers should note that due to the recent updates the OG1 will no longer be pre-populated with the prior year’s submitted responses. The only information that will be pre-populated in the form is the PFIs/Servicers contact information in the top portion the form.

The MPF Program will be issuing an MPF Announcement in the near future which will provide additional details on the updated forms as well as registration information for upcoming webinars to review the online completion process of the updated OG1 and OG2 forms.
