Extended Hours for Delivery Commitment Extensions

Effective Date: March 2, 2020

Beginning Monday, March 2, 2020, PFIs will have an additional 30 minutes to extend MPF Traditional (Non-Government and Government) and MPF Government MBS Delivery Commitments, as the Delivery Commitment Extension cut-off time is changing from 3:30 PM CT to 4:00 PM CT.

With regards to this enhancement, please note the following:

• MPF Xtra and MPF Direct will not be impacted by this change; the Extension cut-off will remain 3:30PM CT
• New Delivery Commitment Creation and Delivery Commitment Reductions will continue to stop at 3:30 PM CT, as is the current standard
• On Early Close days (Christmas Eve, for example), all transactions (Delivery Commitment Extensions included) will have the same cut-off time (1:00 PM CT, typically)
