MPF Program Reporting Reminders
Effective Date: Immediately (unless otherwise noted)
Servicers must submit a Delinquent Mortgage & Bankruptcy Status Report (Exhibit B submitted via eMAQCS®Plus) to the MPF Provider containing the status of:
- all Delinquent Mortgage Loans that are thirty (30)* or more days delinquent as of the last day of the preceding month; and
- all Borrowers who are in Bankruptcy status must be reported in monthly regardless of the status of the loan (current/delinquent).
* If a payment is not made in the month in which it is due, the mortgage loan is considered delinquent and must be included on the Delinquent Mortgage & Bankruptcy Status Report as if it was 30 days or more delinquent, even if the month has less than 30 days.
As a reminder, the Delinquent Mortgage & Bankruptcy Status Report (Exhibit B) must be submitted:
- MPF Traditional – The fifth (5th) Business Day of each month by 5:00 PM ET
- MPF Government MBS –The first (1st) Business Day of each month by 5:00 PM ET
- MPF Xtra –The second (2nd) Business Day of each month by 12:00 PM ET
Each occurrence of a late or incomplete Monthly Accounting Report or Delinquent Mortgage & Bankruptcy Status Report will be subject to a late reporting fee in accordance to Section 2.14.3 – Late Reporting Fee of the applicable MPF Product Servicing Guide.
To help avoid late fees, please ensure the Monthly Accounting Report (submitted to Computershare) and the Delinquent Mortgage & Bankruptcy Status Report (submitted to the MPF Provider via eMAQCS plus) are accurate and in alignment with one another prior to submitting.
