MPF^® Xtra Selling Guide Updates-Exhibit K-X allonge requirements

The MPF Program recently published MPF Xtra Announcement 2023-22, communicating updates to the MPF Xtra^® Initial Certification Review Checklist (Exhibit K-X) and the MPF Xtra Selling Guide.

Initial Certification Review Checklist (Exhibit K-X):

The checklist has been updated to include direction that PFIs must ensure documents provided are completed in accordance with the MPF Xtra Selling Guide and applicable Fannie Mae Selling Guide requirements. Updates also include edits to the note endorsement chain and allonge requirements.

MPF Xtra Selling Guide Updates:

The MPF Xtra Selling Guide has been updated to provide clarification regarding requirements for the endorsement of a note or an allonge being used. For additional guidance, see MPF Xtra Selling Guide Sections 10.4 Note Preparation and 17.2.2.6 Note Endorsement.
