Mortgage Partnership Finance (MPF) Program Leadership Announcement
After nearly 18 years in various roles across FHLBank Chicago and with the Mortgage Partnership Finance Program (MPF), John Stocchetti has announced his intention to retire. The MPF Program will continue to be a tremendous asset to our participating financial institution members, supporting members of other Federal Home Loan Banks nationwide.
John directly managed or oversaw the MPF business for 16 of the 27 years of the program’s existence, helping to create Government MBS, Direct products and MPF Xtra. John spearheaded upgrades to the MPF systems, worked to create the MPF Governing Council we have today, managed the Fannie Mae and Ginnie Mae relationships, and provided steady leadership to the other participating FHLBanks.
While John is looking forward to spending more time with his wonderful family, he intends to provide support to the next leader of MPF and will stay on through a transition period when that person is identified. We will continue to provide updates as we navigate this transition.
Although we cannot replace John’s years of leadership and dedication, MPF will continue to evolve so that we can successfully achieve our strategic objectives and deliver support for FHLBank members and their communities. We are grateful to John for his decades of service and wish him well in his retirement.
