MPF Program – Servicing Released Clarifications 

Effective Date: Immediately (unless otherwise noted)

Updated the following servicing released policies:

• Clarified that mortgage loans secured by properties located in Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands are eligible to be delivered under the servicing released option to Newrez.
  

• Incorporated a reminder that all servicing released activity delivered to Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS) prior to June 1, 2024, has transitioned to NewRez. As a result, for all mortgage loans previously delivered to SLS, Servicers must refer to and comply with the applicable NewRez Whole Loan Servicing Transfer Manual.
