MPF Program Quality Control Process Updates
Date: March 21, 2025
Over the next few months, the MPF Program will be implementing enhancements to the eMAQCS®plus system that will make the system easier to navigate. As these enhancements roll out incrementally, users will begin to see some slight differences in both the way the system looks and the way certain exceptions are addressed.
A recent enhancement resulted in a new vendor name being visible to you. A few years ago, Covius Real Estate Services, the MPF Quality Control (QC) vendor, acquired Clayton. Covius remains the primary contact for the MPF QC department and PFIs. However, future employment or deposit account reverification requests, as well as notations within exceptions, may reference or involve contacts from either company. Expect email address domains to be from either @covius.com or @clayton.com.
In addition, the QC vendors have implemented a new compliance testing platform, which may result in different exceptions than previously encountered. Compliance exceptions will now be labelled in a way that identifies the source of the legal requirement, such as TILA, RESPA, etc. to assist you in responding to the requests.
We have updated the QC Checklist Form OG4 to assist you in ensuring the documentation you provide as part of a QC request is complete, and to minimize the identification potential exceptions that need to be addressed.
Join us on April 22, 2025, for an MPF Quality Control Updates and Trends webinar where we will discuss recent updates as well as a few common QC findings and ways to prevent them.
We will continue to keep you updated on future changes, and what you can expect as enhancements are rolled out.
