MPF Xtra Servicing – Advance Notice of Changes to Servicing Processes and Systems
Effective Date: Immediately (unless otherwise noted)
Fannie Mae published an update to Lender Letter LL-2025-02 which provides advance notice of upcoming changes to servicing processes and systems.
With this update, Fannie Mae has incorporated an Implementation Timeline on their website.
The MPF Program is evaluating the changes and assessing their impacts. The MPF Program will communicate further details as they become available.
We encourage Servicers to familiarize themselves with the changes, to contact any applicable vendors, including your institutions CORE Provider to ensure they are aware of the new reporting requirements and discuss any necessary preparations in place to implement the changes.
To gain a full understanding of these topics, PFIs should review the entire Fannie Mae Lender Letter plus any applicable Fannie Mae Servicing Guide chapters, forms, or exhibits noted in the announcement.
