MPF Xtra Servicing – Payment Deferral Requests

Effective Date: Immediately (unless otherwise noted)

The MPF Program has updated MPF Exhibit AA-X: MPF Xtra Payment Deferral (PD2023)* Request – Instructions (MPF Exhibit AA-X) to reflect the updated eligibility payment deferral criteria published in Fannie Mae Lender Letter LL-2023-04.

*MPF Exhibit AA-X has been updated to mirror the naming convention in eMAQCS^®plus. References to MPF Exhibit AA-X in the MPF Xtra Servicing Guide have also been updated accordingly.

As a reminder, Servicers must evaluate Borrowers in accordance to LL-2023-04 by October 1, 2023.

To gain a full understanding of the payment deferral updates, PFIs should review the entire Fannie Mae Lender Letter and any applicable Fannie Mae Servicing Guide chapters.
