MPF Program – Newrez Servicing Released Update
Effective Date: Immediately (unless otherwise noted)
As previously communicated in MPF Announcement 2024-30, effective today, SLS Whole Loan Servicing Funding a purchasing Servicer for servicing released mortgage loans delivered under the MPF Program, will no longer be acquiring or holding MPF Program servicing.
All of the existing servicing activity including MSR purchases transitioned to Newrez, LLC (Newrez), our new servicing released partner.
As a reminder, PFIs should refer to Exhibit W: Newrez Whole Loan Servicing Transfer Manual for MPF Traditional and Exhibit W-X: Newrez Whole Loan Servicing Transfer Manual for MPF Xtra accessible via the MPF Website or via Allregs.
Note: Any Delivery Commitments (DC) dated before June 1, the documentation should reflect SLS, even if the loan is scheduled to close/fund after June 1.
