New MPF® Product Notifications for Expiring Delivery Commitments
Effective Date: December 16, 2024
We are pleased to announce a new enhancement as part of the MPF® Program Excellence initiative, designed to help you better manage your Delivery Commitments (DCs) and avoid potential pair-off fees.
Beginning December 16, we’re introducing email alerts to provide advanced notice when a DC is approaching expiration for both MPF Traditional and MPF Xtra® products.
- For MPF Traditional products: Alerts will be sent 5 days before a DC expires.
- For MPF Xtra: Alerts will be sent 10 days before a DC expires.
- Same-Day Warning for MPF Xtra: This feature will continue to notify you on the day a DC expires if it remains unfunded.
- Same-Day Warning for MPF Xtra: This feature will continue to notify you on the day a DC expires if it remains unfunded.
These new email notifications will assist in effectively managing your DC commitments and avoiding pair-off fees.
Email Notifications:
- Email alerts will be sent to eMPF® users with ‘Request DC’ authority.
- Notifications will cover DCs within a tolerance that could result in a pair-off fee if not addressed.
- Emails will come from MPF_DoNotReply@fhlbc.com.
This enhancement reflects feedback from our MPF Program Excellence initiative and underscores our commitment to improving the tools and resources available to you.
