Products: MPF Traditional, MPF Xtra, MPF Government MBS
As part of the UMDP initiative, in 2012, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac established the Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD), which is a common set of required data elements (MISMO Data Points) for loan delivery. An XML file containing the required ULDD data points is necessary for all MPF Xtra loans and serves as the base data file for all other MPF loans delivered via batch submission.
Effective July 16, 2025, PFIs delivering loans under the MPF Xtra product as well as using “batch” data file upload for MPF Traditional products and MPF Government MBS, will be required to submit using the updated ULDD “Phase 5” XML file format. Products: MPF Government MBS
The "Submit Batch" functionality on eMPF allows users to deliver loans under the MPF Program through the submission of the Fannie Mae ULDD XML file. For MPF Government MBS, the batch delivery process requires the concurrent submission of the ULDD XML file along with an MPF Additional Info File (.csv).
Products: MPF Traditional
The Credit Enhancement (CE) Estimator provides an alternative tool for PFIs to obtain estimated loan level Credit Enhancement figures for each loan that is submitted using this feature. The CE Estimator is only applicable to the MPF Traditional credit enhanced products and does not provide an indication of loan eligibility.

As part of the UMDP initiative, in 2017, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac established the Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD), which is a standardized industry dataset that electronically communicates information from the Closing Disclosure. The UCD initiative is only applicable to the MPF Xtra product.
