MPF Servicing – MI Cancellation Notice Update
Effective Date: Immediately (unless otherwise noted)
The MPF Program has updated the Form SG343: MI Cancellation Notice to include a Servicer attestation.
As a reminder, Servicers of MPF Traditional and MPF Xtra mortgage loans must submit the Form SG343: MI Cancellation Notice to submit mortgage insurance (MI) cancellations requests or to notify the MPF Provider whenever mortgage insurance (MI) is cancelled or terminated in accordance with the Servicing Guides.
By submitting the form, the Servicer confirms the request meets all applicable laws and MPF Guide eligibility requirements, including the property has not declined since its origination, and the Servicer has obtained any required approval from a Mortgage Insurer or Government Agency.
