MPF Xtra Servicing Update – FNMA SVC-2026-04
Effective Date: Immediately (unless otherwise noted within)
Fannie Mae published SVC-2026-04 which covers the below referenced topics that are aligned with the MPF Xtra Product guidelines.
- Update to Remote Online Notarization requirements
- Removed required video recording of the remote notarial ceremony for loans closed using RON
- Servicers must retain the RON audit trail as part of the electric loan file delivered to Fannie Mae
Effective: Immediately and apply to loans closed on or after May 6, 2026.
Updates to the MPF Xtra Guides will be published shortly.
Other topics mentioned in the Fannie Mae announcement do not apply to MPF Xtra.
